Qextron Nexus Phone Line Sharing
Nexus allows the lab to share the client's existing dedicated phone line for result delivery. When sharing a line, the ongoing monthly phone line expense to the lab is eliminated. Any time the client has a FAX, modem, or extra line, Nexus can eliminate the requirements of an additional dedicated phone line. Nexus can automatically determine the content of an incoming call and route it to the appropriate device. If the received call is determined to be a FAX, then Nexus simply routes the call to the FAX machine. The same holds true for other devices that may be deemed appropriate for Nexus to share a phone line with, such as a modem. When the incoming call is intended for Nexus, it will answer the call and print the incoming data.
